The nanoXRS is a small sized, full featured X-Ray Spectrometer with integrated, thermoelectrically cooled Silicon Drift Detector (SDD), featuring:

  • High counting rate capability (> 1mln cps) at very short shaping times (< 100ns)
  • User configurable digital pulse processor with 16-bit low power ADC sampling at 80MHz
  • Enhanced pile-up rejection based on pulse-shape analysis
  • Free labZY-MCA software for device configuration, spectra acquisition, and spectrum analysis
  • Built-in Trace Viewer, the most advanced detector signal exploration tool
  • Automatic functions: thresholds, pole-zero, input polarity, inhibit polarity
  • Built-in and signal interference-free Digital Pulser
  • Manganese Kα line resolution down to 125eV FWHM
  • Three performance grades based on FWHM:
    • research grade with FWHM less than 150eV
    • standard grade with FWHM 150eV to 180eV
    • educational/training grade with FWHM greater than 180eV
  • Convenient and flexible connectivity with single mini USB connector for I/O
  • Built-in thermoelectric cooler with detector temperature stabilization
  • Small size (125 mm x 38 mm x 25 mm) and low power (1250mW typ)
